This Weeks Fashion Rundown: Valentines Day

Hey readers!

I’m back, and I’m juicier than ever.

Valentines Day is just around the corner, and if you’re in a romantic relationship, or even going on a hot date that night, you gotta start thinking about what to wear on Valentines Day.

Even if you’re just hanging out with a close knit group of friends, spicing up your outfit with a bit of fun will really really help you enjoy yourself because you are feeling yourself.

MAKE SURE THAT OUTFIT POPS

Whether it’s a sparkly silver bag, glammy red lipstick, or show-stopping heels, try to pick at least one statement point to really make your whole damn look click.

THINK ABOUT THE ELEMENTS

Make sure there isn’t too much of one fabric like leather or cotton in your whole outfit (this includes elements like dress/top&bottoms, heels/flats, and bag)

If you’re wearing a leather jacket, bag, and pants, wear a silk top and suede heels to balance it out.

Also, a whole colour might be too much, so try to at the very least offset a whole colour outfit (like red) with some silver or gold jewellery.

Or replace your red heels with black heels.

REMEMBER THE VALENTINES COLOURS

The main valentines colours to signal love are red, white, and pink, but a bit of silver or gold never hurt anyone either. That’s what wedding rings are made out of, after all.

Use those colours as a starting point to put together your outfit if you are really stuck!

Valentines day is also all about hearts, so you could potentially wear a top or dress with a big heart or small heart pattern on it.

PLAY AROUND WITH MAKEUP

Aside from the classic red lip, a pink lipgloss or red lipgloss are good options.

For eyes, try a smokey eye or some pink eyeshadow.

Unless you want to go for a super bold look, only do red eyeshadow with a subtle lip, like a clear or pink lipgloss.

Don’t forget about blush too! A pink or subtle red blush can really bring the LURVE to your look.

Eyelash curler with mascara! Gotta get those fluttery lashes to bring out your inner flirt.

Concealer is vital! Especially if you’re having a long night.

For hair, try a blowout wave or 50s style curls. If you straighten your hair, add a fun hair accessory in your hair.

And most importantly,

HAVE FUN

Whether you’re on a hot date with someone new, a romantic date with a significant other, or a fun night with friends, please remember to have fun and enjoy yourself!

And be comfortable in what you’re wearing. If you are pulling and scratching your outfit all night, you won’t feel sexy.

Enjoy your night.
